1. Use of the service
CareerStack provides free educational tools, roadmaps, hands-on labs, interview preparation, and career market insights for people pursuing AI, ML, GenAI, and related careers. The service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Accounts
Some features require signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity under your account on our site. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. AI-generated content
Several tools use AI models to generate roadmaps, feedback, project ideas, and answers. AI output:
- May be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
- Is provided for guidance and educational purposes only and is not professional, legal, financial, or career advice.
- Should be independently verified before you rely on it for any decision.
You are responsible for how you use AI-generated output.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site or its APIs in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or backend services.
- Abuse, overload, scrape, or automate access to our AI endpoints or tools beyond normal personal use.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service or its content except as permitted.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful or malicious.
5. Intellectual property
The CareerStack name, site design, original content, roadmaps, and tools are owned by CareerStack and protected by applicable law. You may use them for your personal learning; you may not copy, republish, or sell them without our permission.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. text or documents you paste or upload into our tools). You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the requested feature (for example, sending relevant passages to our AI provider to generate a response). 7. Third-party links & services
The site links to third-party resources and relies on third-party providers (such as Google, Supabase, Anthropic, Netlify, and job data sources). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third parties, and your use of them is governed by their terms.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee any career, employment, or salary outcome from using the site.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerStack and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its AI-generated content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
